Katherine Drayer currently serves as the Director of Compliance and Regulatory at Melwood. She has held multiple support roles at Melwood for over 17 years where she advocates for services that promote independence, community integration, and natural supports.  

After graduating with a Batchelor’s of Science in Psychology, Drayer found a job in Case Management, supporting people with disabilities, that quickly became a career. Through her tenure at Melwood, she has advocated for people with disabilities and their services as a Direct Support Professional, as a Program Manager, and, most recently, as Director. She has been a key component in database migration, quality improvement, and data enhancement.  

Drayer works collaboratively with the multiple local, state, and federal entities providing supports throughout Melwood around regulation, quality enhancement, fiscal responsibility, and compliance.
